Sheffield schools learn about different authors, styles of writing & enjoy Billy's adventure

My first book reading from the past week was for two Year 2 classes in a Sheffield school. Before I visited they had been talking about different authors and their style of writing. So I was there to read the second story and talk about my books. I know the class teachers had read the first of Billy’s Adventures to them before I came. So the second story followed along nicely and went down really well, especially as these classes were fascinated by anything that involves ‘Under the Sea.’

This was my 3rd visit to this school and as always it was a big success, the children just loved the stories and the characters. They had also prepared many questions to ask, once I had finished.

PRAISE FOR BILLY'S NEW CAMERA

"This is a fantastic book for small children, short enough to keep their interest throughout. The drawings are superb with plenty of visual stimulation. The rhyming story is repetitive enabling children to join in. On the whole, a humerous, colourful story all wrapped up in this little book for pre-school children who will love all the little animals."
