Hello and welcome to my very first blog post. I just wanted to keep you all updated on the progress of book three. I have got to confess, this book is taking me way longer to finish than expected. It’s a little frustrating really because when in the past I’ve managed to get two books published in consecutive years, I kind of expected book three would just follow on and already be in print. Sadly this has not happened and I know for a fact that it isn’t going to be ready this year. So I am aiming to get this one completed before World Book Day next year... keep your fingers crossed! I am still working hard on the illustrations and I’ve certainly found this one a lot more challenging than the other two. The story is a fraction longer and the illustrations have a lot more detail. It’s the detail that is taking the time and as you can well imagine I need to keep checking it to make sure that I have not missed anything out.
