Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Wendy Scott and I am a children's picture book author and illustrator. This is all still very new to me, as I only started writing and illustrating stories for children a few years ago. Having worked in a Early Years setting for over 20 years, I have really got to know the type of stories children enjoy. Rhyme and repetition have always been the key, especially with
the younger age group. This type of story makes it easier for them to follow and maybe even join in. So this inspired me to give it a go and create my own children's picture book stories.
Billy's New Camera was published by Matador in 2016. This story, is the first in a mini series and follows the adventures of a young boy called Billy Bradley.
My second story Billy's Submarine Adventure, published in 2017, takes Billy on a whole new crazy underwater adventure. With lots of interesting characters to capture the imagination, both stories will certainly make your children laugh, smile and want to hear again and again.

The third story, Follow Me, Billy B is published June 2020 and rejoins Billy on another rather unusual adventure...
Each story is ideal for ages 2 to 6 and great for promoting reading in any Early Years Setting.
